J. Wesley Alexander Research Award
At the Turkish Transplantation Society’s most recent gathering in 2001, we were proud to present the first “Felix T. Rapaport Memorial Award.” This prize is given to the candidate who has shown excellence in immunobiology and/or immunology. At the coming meeting in 2003, we will present the first “J. Wesley Alexander Research Award.” Like the Rapaport award, this prize will also be given every 2 years at the society’s international meetings. The J. Wesley Alexander Research Award will honor excellence in published research related to transplantation. Anyone who wishes to nominate themselves or another candidate for these awards must complete the application form and send it to the Congress Secretariat. Three separate scientific committees will decide the winners of these honors.
