CAPPADOCIA TOUR PROGRAM
Day 1
Departure from Patalya Thermal Resort – Kızılcahamam, Ankara: 0700 hrs Arrival at Cappadocia: 1100 hrs Lunch at Dedeman Hotel: 1130 – 1230 hrs Departure from Dedeman Hotel: 1230 hrs
	Uçhisar/Pigeon Valley: Learn about Cappadocia and the past and present residents of the region; see the best view of Pigeon Valley.
	Göreme/Esentepe: Get a panoramic view of the valleys; Open-Air Museum: A unique and intriguing place that displays some of the first traces of Christianity; some of the earliest cave churches and frescoes in Anatolia.
	Zelve/Paşabağlar: This area with its many mushroom-shaped fairy chimneys is called Monk’s Valley because it is the location of the chapel of Saint Simeon.
	Ürgüp/Wine Cellars: Learn about the history of wine-making with Cappadocian grapes and do some wine tasting as well; visit the Three Beauties, three special fairy chimneys that constitute one of the main symbols of the Cappadocia region.
Return to Dedeman Hotel: 1900 hrs
Day 2
Departure from Dedeman Hotel: 0900 hrs
	Kaymaklı: Visit a huge underground city of tunnels and caves that was constructed to protect people from attacks by Arabs
	Ihlara Valley: Hike part of this scenic and unforgettable 14-km valley and visit the cave churches there
	Lunch
	Ortahisar: Carpet workbenches – see how wonderful Turkish carpets and rugs are made
Return to Dedeman Hotel: 1500 hrs Departure to Ankara: 1600 hrs Arrival at Ankara: 2000 hrs
Cost: $US 250 including:
	Return transportation between Ankara and Cappadocia
	Accommodation in Cappadocia
	All entrance fees and lunches during the tour.
	Please note that the minimum number of tour participants is 20. If this number is not reached, the excursion will be cancelled and the tour cost will be reimbursed.
